    Our Journey and Philosophy

    Resilience

THAC’s founder began work in the 1990s in post-conflict settings across the globe. These early experiences laid the foundation for understanding how people cope with trauma, chronic stress, and life-threatening or life-altering situations. They offered deep insights into the lived realities of individuals facing violence and instability — and how human resilience emerges from such conditions.

    Experiments

In 2015, the International Fellowship of Reconciliation (IFOR), represented by its Swiss branch, supported the official founding of THAC. Volunteers and practitioners initiated mini-projects, discussion circles, and experiential workshops. These early collaborations helped engage with expert partners in peacebuilding and creative transformation — across various cultural and political contexts.

    Intercultural Learning

Many cultures hold deep generational knowledge on how to deal with violence, trauma, and healing. This wisdom, when meaningfully combined with modern technologies and scientific approaches, creates powerful frameworks for empowerment. Intercontinental exchanges with local leaders, spiritual practitioners, and educators have enriched THAC’s expertise and shaped our integrative approach.

Flow – Body, Mind and Soul

The registered THAC logo symbolizes the unity of Body, Mind, and Soul. The earthy tones reflect our planet — alive and dynamic — while the soft lines encircling the square fields represent the energy flow connecting all dimensions of being. The small square at the lower right edge stands for memory: traces that remain and shape us. These layers reflect our holistic approach to recovery and personal evolution.

Hypnosis is one of our core methods — a transformative practice used individually and in group settings. It enables access to inner strength and helps dissolve deep-seated fears, anxieties, and blockages.

    Stones & Minerals

For many years, THAC’s founder has explored the energetic potential of natural stones — not only for personal grounding and reconnection with nature, but also as a shield against environmental stressors. Some minerals appear to mitigate the effects of electro-smog — an increasingly relevant asset in our electricity-saturated world.

In our online shop, we offer a curated collection of our most effective and energetically powerful stones — carefully selected to support protection, clarity, and balance.

    Our Philosophy

At THAC, we are committed to fostering cooperation, coexistence, and personal development through an integrated and trauma-informed approach.

Our philosophy emphasizes the dynamic interplay between individual transformation and systemic change — we call this “flow.” It is the connection between body, mind, and spirit, and between people, cultures, and environments.

    • International and Intercultural Issues: Addressing challenges in diverse and global contexts through culturally aware, participatory processes.
    • Navigating Fragile and Conflict-Intensive Environments: Providing support in managing trauma, building trust, and promoting peaceful transformation.
    • Creative Reorientation and Change Processes: Assisting individuals and institutions in embracing innovative transitions — whether personal, professional, or organizational.
